Free For Four Award: All first-time, full-time Pell-eligible Maine residents receive FREE tuition & fees (saving nearly $8,000 per year).*
For Maine Families Award: Other eligible Maine residents may receive significant reduction of tuition and fees ($3,084 or more in financial aid grants and awards).**
AND Out-of-state and International students pay just $12,235 in tuition and fees.
*A limited number of awards are available for first-time, full-time college students who are Pell Grant-eligible Maine residents who complete 30 or more credits per year and maintain a 2.0 or higher GPA. Priority will be given to students who apply by the March 31 application deadline. If applying after March 31st, please contact an admissions counselor for details and availability.
Selected recipients will receive a combination of both grant and scholarship funds to cover the annual cost of standard tuition and fees.
The Free for Four program for Pell-eligible students has been expanded to apply to Maine Resident transfer students. Eligible students will transfer from a 4 year school and have no gap in attendance.
**Maine students, with an expected family contribution of $20,000 or less, who are not Pell-eligible and meet the same requirements will receive an annual tuition discount package which will reduce their net tuition to $4,800 per year (30 credits plus standard fees).
