“I graduated from UMPI in 1972 with a degree in health and physical education. I received a Master’s in Education at UMO. I worked at Rockport elementary and Camden Rockport elementary for 42 years. I have received over 100 awards, such as Maine PE Teacher of the Year in 1987, runner-up in 1988, and National Jump Rope Coordinator of the Year in 2008. Working with the American Heart Association for 16 years, I have raised $359,689.54 for them.”
